Material Handler Posted on:08/20/12 Job Number: xxxx02-xxxx-7-xxxx89   Add to Cart   Email to a Friend Location: Lehi, UT Description: Material Handler Position Summary: Volt has teamed up with a dynamic company in Lehi for a Material Handler who distributes various disposable products to customer point of use areas throughout the site, maintains stockroom, ensures billing and inventory accuracy and handles clean room laundry collection and distribution. This position is scheduled to cover 12 hour shifts 6 A.M. to 6 P.M. Wednesday through Saturday. " Distribute products to assigned areas, maintain min/max levels and record daily distribution list " Collect and distribute laundry multiple times per shift at up to three staging areas " Adhere to customer gowning protocols when entering clean rooms and pass-throughs and safety requirements (hardhats, safety glasses, ear plugs, etc.) in designated areas " Respond to customer requests in a timely manner and build sustainable relationships in multiple departments " Visit point of use areas multiple times throughout each shift " Answer customer questions regarding products and availability " Receive shipments, rotate products (First In First Out), maintain inventory accuracy and keep stockrooms clean " Record walk-up disbursements " Communicate to customers in person, by email, phone and paging system " Other duties as assigned Requirements: Minimum Qualifications " 1-2 years customer service, sales, retail or warehouse experience " Ability to work long shifts including overtime " Ability to walk and stand for entire shift " Must be able to push / pull up to 100 lbs " Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs repeatedly " Experience working with Excel, Word and Outlook Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
